Job summary

Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN to deliver skilled clinical care and monitor residents within a 106-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility in Rhode Island. You will ensure care plans are followed and resident well-being remains the priority.

The role requires an active Rhode Island RN license, BLS certification, and the ability to manage multiple residents with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per nursing standards and physician's plan of treatment and written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans by Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per plan of care.
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions and report changes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per physician orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and nursing regulations.

7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM, and 11 PM - 7 AM

Daily Pay!

$40 - $55 an hour (all inclusive)

Sign-On Bonus - $6,000 - Full-Time and $3,000 for Part-Time

$5 PIB

$1.50 Shift Diff for 3 PM - 11 PM

$2 Shift Diff for 11 PM - 7 AM

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Rhode Island.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
