Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Rhode Island is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time and part-time opportunities. Shifts include 7-3 and 11-7, with daily pay and competitive hourly pay between $40.00 and $49.00.

The role focuses on delivering skilled nursing care, monitoring residents, and following individualized care plans in a supportive, team-based environment. Qualifications include an active Rhode Island RN license and valid BLS CPR.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Rhode Island.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with established nursing standards and written care plans.
• Follow care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per care plan.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to the team.
• Maintain complete documentation per physician orders and facility policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control protocols and nursing regulations are followed.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Rhode Island.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
