Northgate Care Center is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our skilled nursing team. You will supervise the clinical staff on your unit, ensure high standards of resident care, and support infection prevention practices to maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

Responsibilities include guiding and educating staff, fostering a positive facility culture, and ensuring adequate staffing to meet residents’ needs. A valid RN license is required; prior SNF experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license (IA or compact state).
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.
• Strong patient-care and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work ensures our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Northgate Care Center by supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with fostering a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained, and ensuring adequate staffing for our residents’ needs. Residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to receive an unparalleled standard of care.

Qualifications

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• An unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
