Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation seeks an RN to plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care and health education for residents. Under the Director of Nursing, you will supervise CNAs and staff, coordinate unit care, and ensure safe medication administration.

The role requires compassion, empathy, and commitment to resident well‑being. Sign-on bonus is available and shifts include 7:00 AM/PM rotations.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license required.
• Experience supervising CNAs and nursing staff.
• Ability to transcribe and implement physician orders.
• Experience with MDS/CAA and care planning.
• Compassionate, patient-centered care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care and services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit to ensure appropriate resident care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
• Transcribe and coordinate physician orders accurately.
• Perform nursing assessments and report changes to the physician.
• Develop and implement a care plan based on assessments.
• Institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize conditions.
• Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA) and care plan development.

Job description

Anson Health & Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

Applicant must have unrestricted RN license. Sign on bonus is available. 7:00AM/7:00PM or 7:00PM/7:00AM

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

This position requires patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the RN may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and /or prevent complications.

Contribute to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a care plan.
