Job summary

Vered Healthcare Group is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) for 12 hour shifts at our Florida facility. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the care team to implement plans.

Ideal candidates hold a current Florida RN license, have LTC experience, and are proficient with EMR systems. CPR certification and background clearance are required as part of our commitment to safe, compliant care.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida RN license required.

• Excellent communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents based on their individual needs and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor residents' vital signs, assess their health condition, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Assist in coordinating and supervising the work of LPNs and CNAs to ensure the delivery of consistent, safe, and compassionate care.
• Educate residents and their families on health management, disease prevention, and available support services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including electronic documentation, in adherence to facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

RN Job Summary:

RN Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents based on their individual needs and care plans

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida

• Experience preferred in nursing, preferably in a long-term care or nursing home setting

• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures, with a focus on geriatric care

• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to evaluate and respond to residents' health needs effectively

• Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members with empathy and professionalism

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer skills

• Current CPR certification

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
