Job summary

Indian River Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of healthcare professionals. The RN will supervise nursing personnel and oversee daily activities during assigned shifts under the Director of Nursing, ensuring care aligns with professional standards and regulations.

We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities for 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a shifts. Preferred candidates hold a BSN, Florida RN license, and CPR/BLS certification, with experience in geriatrics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current RN license in Florida.
  • Peripheral IV certification.
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience.
  • One year of management experience preferred.
  • One year of geriatrics or subacute care experience.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance.
  • Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
  • Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
  • Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
  • Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
