Seminole Care and Rehabilitation Center in Seminole, OK is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts to deliver compassionate care to residents. Responsibilities include administering medications, creating and following care plans, documenting patient progress, and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid RN license for the state of Oklahoma is required.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under individualized care plans and physicians' orders.
• Assess and document the resident's condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders.
• Assigns nursing care tasks to team members per resident needs and capabilities.
• Administer medications and start IVs as required.
• Document treatments and ensure equipment and supplies are maintained safely.

Essential Functions of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Registered Nurse (RN):
