Job summary

Seminole Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Seminole, OK. The role focuses on compassionate resident care, accurate administration of medications, and lead nursing plans.

A valid Oklahoma RN license and CPR certification are required, with strong teamwork and communication skills essential for success. The position is full-time with benefits including PTO, tuition assistance, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid RN license for the state of Oklahoma is required.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing and care for residents.
• Exceed company and regulatory standards in service delivery.
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents' condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign care tasks to team members based on needs and capabilities.
• Administer medications.
• Page IV starts and treatments for assigned residents.
• Ensure supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 7AM - 7PM

Essential Functions of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned
