Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for our Health Center in San Antonio, TX. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm.

You will assess patients, collaborate with physicians, perform tests, administer medications, and maintain records. The role requires an active RN license in Texas, relevant certifications (BLS/ACLS), and at least three years of RN experience in ER, occupational health, or ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for medical evaluation and care.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment and infection control procedures.
• Maintain and update patient health records.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in San Antonio, TX. The scheduled hours are Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

What You'll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
