Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living in Peabody, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote, restore, and maintain residents’ health with person-centered care. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.

We offer part-time and per diem shifts, with pay between $42 and $50 per hour plus shift differentials, a $7,500 retention bonus for 24 hours or more, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO,

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months RN experience required.
  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with residents and families, addressing physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
  • Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards.
  • Promote independence by setting care goals and educating residents and families.
  • Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care and maintain infection prevention.
  • Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary teams and document in the EMR.
  • Respect resident preferences and ensure timely, accurate documentation.

How you will make an impact
  • Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.
  • Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice
  • Promoting resident’s independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident’s condition, medication, and self-care skills
  • Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as neededMaintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders.
  • Developing and coordinating a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet the resident’s clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team
  • Supporting resident’s preferences, routines, and choices in resident’s electronic medical record
  • Ensuring that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
  • Participating in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager
What you will need
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN
  • Experience in caring for seniors or senior with cognitive impairment preferred
  • Basic computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications
  • Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred
  • Must have an active RN license in the state in which they will practice
  • CPR certification required.
