Job summary

Sweetwater Care is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join a local acute rehab facility in Peoria, AZ, on night shifts (6p-6:30a). The role requires AZ RN licensure, hospital experience, and the ability to work flexible hours.

The RN will develop care plans, coordinate with physicians and therapists, and ensure accurate medication administration while maintaining a safe environment. TB test, physical, and fingerprint clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• 1 year hospital experience.
• RN in acute rehabilitation hospital preferred.
• Desire to care for patients with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• TB test within 1 year.
• Physical within 6 months.
• Fingerprint clearance current.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident care in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure nursing care plans; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Make nursing diagnoses to guide care strategy.
• Collaborate with residents and healthcare team.
• Record administration of medication.
• Monitor staff and ensure safety regulations and procedures are followed.
• Follow procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
