Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Avondale, AZ is seeking an RN for local contracts in an acute rehab facility with night shifts, 6pm–6:30am.

Requirements include an active Arizona RN license, at least 1 year hospital experience in an acute rehab setting, BLS (ACLS preferred), and ability to work flexible hours; current TB test and physical; fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• 1 year hospital experience.
• Experience in acute rehabilitation preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Current TB test within a year and physical within 6 months.
• Finger Print Card clearance current.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication.
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following state regulations.
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
