Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Peoria, AZ is seeking an Registered Nurse for local contracts in an acute rehab facility. Night shift 6p-6:30a with duties including care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements include an active AZ RN license, at least 1 year hospital experience, BLS (ACLS preferred), and ability to work flexible hours. Knowledge of electronic charting and compliance with safety regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona
• Prior RN experience in acute rehabilitation hospital
• Desire to care for patients in acute care setting with integrity
• Ability to work flexible hours
• 1 year hospital experience
• Efficient in electronic charting system
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• TB test within a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Fingerprint clearance

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
