Job summary

Oakpark-Health- is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise nursing staff and oversee daily activities under the Director of Nursing. This full-time/part-time role ensures care aligns with standards and regulations, delivering quality outcomes.

The position requires a current RN license in the state, BSN preferred, IV certification, and experience in geriatrics or subacute care. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

  • BSN preferred
  • Current RN license in the state of employment
  • Peripheral IV certification
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience
  • One year of management experience (preferred)
  • One year of experience in geriatrics or subacute care
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
  • Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
  • Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
  • Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care
