Job summary

Fernandina Beach Rehabilitation and nursing center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise nursing staff and oversee daily care during assigned shifts. The RN will ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires an RN license in Florida, CPR/BLS certification, and relevant nursing experience, including geriatrics or subacute care. BSN preferred and leadership experience a plus. Great team environment and patient-centered care await.

Qualifications

  • BSN preferred
  • Current RN license in the state of employment
  • Peripheral IV certification
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience
  • One year of management experience (preferred)
  • One year of experience in geriatrics or subacute care
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
  • Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
  • Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
  • Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
Current RN license in the state of employment
CPR/BLS certification
