Job summary

Fairway-Oaks-Center-1 in Tampa, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Under the Director of Nursing, this role supervises nursing personnel and oversees daily activities during assigned shifts to ensure quality care.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities on 3pm-11pm and alternating weekend shifts. Candidates should have a BSN preferred, current Florida RN license, CPR/BLS, and at least two years of nursing experience; management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One year of management experience (preferred).
• One year of experience in geriatrics or subacute care.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance according to policies.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify concerns and improve services.
• Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Assist in coordinating nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
