Job summary

Steelville Care and Rehab is seeking a compassionate RN to join our team for night shifts. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care, administer medications, document patient conditions, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license and CPR certification are required.
• Provide nursing care that meets standards and regulatory requirements.
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess residents' condition and update medical records.
• Administer medications and start IVs as ordered by physicians.
• Assign nursing tasks to team members according to resident needs and abilities.
• Maintain supplies and ensure equipment is clean and safe.

Available Night Shifts:

• Days 6:00am - 6:00pm
• Nights 6:00pm - 6:00am

Essential Functionsof Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the person's capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualificationsof Registered Nurse (RN):

• Valid RN license for the state of Missouri
• Valid CPR certification
