Armor Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide holistic care in a correctional setting in Marietta, GA. The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, and coordination with physicians and health staff in a secure environment.

The RN will document accurately and work under physician orders with attention to safety and compliance. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, CPR certification, and EMR experience, and can pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic RN nursing care to patients.
• Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions; obtain health history and provide a written admission assessment.
• Document and communicate triage decisions during custody and upon discharge to the health care provider.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans with care providers.
• Implement medical care plans including diagnostic tests and EKGs per physician orders.
• Administer medications using proper techniques and routes; support nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Assist physician in medical or minor surgical procedures as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic (RN) nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients; obtain health history and provide a written assessment of patients upon admission.
• During custody and upon discharge, document and communicate triage decisions to the appropriate health care provider.

• Administer medications using proper techniques, procedures, and approved routes of administration; nutrition and therapeutic diet plans.
• Assist physician in medical or minor surgical procedures as necessary.

Qualifications
