Armor Health is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at St. John's County Jail. This role requires strong time management and clinical leadership in a busy clinic setting.

You will coordinate daily patient care, supervise staff, and ensure physician orders are implemented, with documentation in the POMR format. The position emphasizes teamwork and high standards of care in a correctional health environment.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2yrs experience as an RN.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance including background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and coordinate daily patient care activities per physician orders and document encounters using POMR.
• Schedule staff and patients to ensure complete coverage and effective patient services.
• Lead, guide, and train employees performing related processes and expectations.
• Oversee and provide direct nursing care and consultation to patients.
• Coordinate services with other patient care units and maintain communication with allied services.
• Oversee quality assurance, infection control activities, and compliance with standards.
