Job summary

Armor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a correctional care setting. You will provide holistic nursing, assess patients, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with health care providers.

Responsibilities include administering medications, supporting diagnostic testing, and assisting physicians with procedures. Candidates must hold an active RN license and CPR certification and be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the respective state.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Able to pass pre-employment Level 2 background check and drug screen.

• Provide holistic RN nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions; obtain health history and provide written admission assessment.
• Document and communicate triage decisions during custody and discharge to the appropriate health care provider.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans with health care providers.
• Implement medical care plans including diagnostics and tests.
• Administer medications using proper techniques and routes; support nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Assist physicians in medical or minor surgical procedures.

• Administer medications using proper techniques, procedures, and approved routes of administration; nutrition and therapeutic diet plans.
• Assist physician in medical or minor surgical procedures as necessary.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
