Job summary

Valley View Manor is a Residential Health Care Facility in Minnesota seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. We offer flexible shifts (4, 8, and 12 hours) to accommodate varying schedules and commitments.

The RN will provide direct patient care, supervise CNAs, manage medications, and support wound and treatment care following facility policies. Strong communication and teamwork with residents, families, and staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy.
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care following state, federal, and facility guidelines.
• Supervising CNAs
• Medication administration • Wound and treatment care
• Provide general nursing care to patients following the facility’s nursing policy and procedure
• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for Nurse review
