Job summary

Southview Acres Health Care Center is actively seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and supervise CNAs in a residential health care setting. The role emphasizes adherence to state, federal, and facility guidelines while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

The RN will administer medications, manage wound and treatment care, and ensure care plans are correctly followed for each resident. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy.
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and facility guidelines.
• Supervising CNAs.
• Medication administration.
• Wound and treatment care.
• Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance to the facility nursing policy and procedure.
• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for Nurse review.
