The Laurels of Heath, a premier senior care facility in Heath, OH, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time Day or Night shifts. You will plan, coordinate and supervise nursing care, lead LPNs, CNAs and other teammates, assess residents, administer medications, and help implement care plans to improve outcomes.

Formación

• RN licensure in the state of Ohio is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• 1–3 years of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care for residents.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other care team members.
• Administer and monitor medications safely and accurately.
• Assess residents’ health and notify physicians of changes; implement orders.
• Develop and update care plans based on assessments.
• Contribute to care plan development and resident assessments (MDS/CAA).

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to nursing home guests.
• Supervise the care/services provided by the LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other team members who care for guests.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
• Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status; promptly implement new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest’s condition and/or prevent complications.
• Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
• CPR certification.
