Job summary

Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate RNs to join our team in Grants Pass, Oregon. You will assess residents, develop care plans, monitor changes in health status, and administer medications in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

PRN opportunities available with 1–2 shifts per week and 2 weekend shifts monthly. Weekend availability and flexibility are required; PRN shifts may vary and are not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oregon.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Supervise CNAs, LPNs and other nursing personnel.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Availability to work 1–2 shifts per week and 2 weekend shifts per month.
• PRN shifts require flexibility.
• Compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Location: Grants Pass, OR at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

PRN Opportunities Available | 1–2 shifts per week required

What You’ll Do

• Assessing resident needs and providing appropriate nursing care.


• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.


• Monitoring resident conditions and responding appropriately to changes in health status.


• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.


• Supervising CNAs, LPNs, and other nursing personnel in the delivery of resident care.


• Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.


• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.


• Following all applicable state and federal regulations, facility policies, and standards of nursing practice.


• Advocating for resident comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life.

What We’re Looking For

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.


• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) experience preferred.


• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.


• Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing assistants, LPNs, and other care team members.


• Excellent organization and attention to detail.


• A genuine passion for caring for others and improving residents’ quality of life.


• Ability and willingness to follow state and federal regulations governing nursing practice.


• Availability to work 1–2 shifts per week and 2 weekend shifts per month is required.


• Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.
