Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
  • Current RN license in the state of employment.
  • Peripheral IV certification.
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience.
  • One year of management experience (preferred).

  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily nursing care delivery and evaluate staff performance per policies.
  • Plan and conduct regular shift meetings to identify concerns and improve services.
  • Identify problems in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
  • Provide written/verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing.
  • Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
