Job summary

New Port Richey Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise nursing staff and oversee daily activities during all shifts (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a), ensuring care meets high professional standards.

Under the Director of Nursing, you will coordinate resident care, lead shift meetings, document reports, and collaborate with other services to deliver compassionate, quality care in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience; one year in geriatrics or subacute care preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
• Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
