Job summary

Emmetsburg Care Center is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our skilled nursing team. You will supervise the clinical staff on your unit, uphold high standards of resident care, and mentor team members to ensure exemplary service.

The RN will champion infection prevention practices, oversee staffing levels, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain a positive, safe, and compassionate care environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered State RN license (Iowa or compact)
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred
• Strong leadership and patient-care coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of the clinical staff on your unit
• Ensure infection prevention practices are followed and staffing meets resident needs
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff to maintain high standards of care

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident's needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
