Job summary

Emmetsburg Care Center is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team in Emmetsburg, IA. We offer full-time and part-time shifts (6a–pm) with opportunities to grow within the department.

Applicants should hold an unencumbered Iowa LPN license; prior LPN experience is preferred. You will help ensure residents receive necessary medication and nursing care as outlined in their care plans and participate as a team leader within the nursing department.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa LPN license.
• Prior LPN experience preferred, but we will invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive medication and nursing care per individualized care plans.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN license. Prior Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by ensuring residents receive the medication and nursing care they need as directed by their individual care plan, conducting resident assessments, being a team leader, and advocating for your residents. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
