Job summary

Northgate Care Center in Iowa is seeking registered nurses to join a supportive skilled nursing team. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available across day and night shifts, with 4am-4pm and 4pm-4am blocks and on-call options.

You will supervise clinical staff on your unit, ensure infection control, and deliver high-quality resident care in a collaborative environment. Applicants should hold an unencumbered RN license (Iowa or compact state) and prefer SNF experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa or compact state required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Ability to supervise clinical staff and ensure infection prevention practices.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Northgate Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
