Job summary

Emmetsburg Care Center in Emmetsburg, IA is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. You will supervise activities of clinical staff on your unit and provide guidance and education to ensure the high standard of care residents expect.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered IA RN license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferable.
• Strong clinical and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise and educate clinical staff and maintain infection control.

Responsibilities

• As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit.
• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on your unit and provide guidance/education.
• Ensure high standard of care and infection prevention practices while maintaining adequate staffing.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
