Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a RN Charge Nurse to oversee daily resident care in a skilled nursing setting. You will perform rounds, assess changes, document findings, and ensure care plans are implemented.

The role requires Texas RN licensure in good standing, completion of an approved RN program, and experience in long-term care preferred. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Has completed an RN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university.
• Must be an active Registered Nurse in Texas in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• During rounds, observes, assesses, documents, and reports resident condition/changes.
• Assures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications as prescribed.
• Oversees aides, conducts narcotic reconciliation with shifts, and initiates Incident/Accident Reports when needed.
• Communicates with residents' contacts regarding status updates and changes in condition.
• Discharges residents per facility policy and completes nursing assessments prior to physician calls.
