Job summary

Lions Rehab Center in Cumberland, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 101-bed skilled nursing facility. As an RN, you will work with a dedicated clinical team to provide hands-on care, perform critical assessments, and contribute to leadership within the unit.

You will collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other professionals to ensure residents receive dignified, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or Multistate
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• A team-player mindset with a passion for patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond to changes
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed
• Document accurately in EMR
• Follow facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate leadership as charge nurse when assigned
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
• Attend required educational activities and meetings
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
• Demonstrate respect for resident rights and dignity

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse at Lions Rehab Center, you'll be a cornerstone of our clinical team, providing hands‑on care, critical assessments, and clinical leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
