Dennett Rehab Center in Oakland, Maryland is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide hands-on care, conduct critical assessments, and lend clinical leadership to residents in a 99-bed skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license or Multistate license.
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus; training provided.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond to changes.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise CNAs and LPNs when needed.
• Document in EMR.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.
• Respect resident rights and dignity.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to changes
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed
• Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Follow all policies and procedures of the facility
• Serve as charge nurses when assigned
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
• Demonstrate respect of resident rights and dignity

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Maryland or Multistate license
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
