Job summary

Regency Coupeville on Whidbey Island is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality resident care in a hospital-like facility. You will administer medications, deliver nursing services, and supervise staff to maintain a home-like environment that respects resident autonomy.

The role requires an active RN license in good standing, with opportunities for evening, NOC, and weekend shifts. A $15,000 welcome bonus is offered for full-time hires, and relocation is available.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing (WA).
• Experience with medication administration and resident care.
• Ability to train and supervise staff while promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with ADLs, medication administration, treatments, and care per state regulations.
• Ensure care aligns with resident treatment and service plans.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Document resident care accurately and timely.
• Evaluate health emergencies within RN scope and regulations.

As an RN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

As an RN, you will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations

• Possess a current RN license in good standing
