Job summary

Regency Coupeville on Whidbey Island is seeking an LPN to provide essential resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, and staff supervision, within state regulations and care plans.

You will train staff, support a homelike environment, assist with ADLs, and ensure accurate care documentation while following infection control and safety procedures. Relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid LPN license in good standing.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations
