Freedom Village Brandywine is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the skilled nursing unit to oversee nursing care and staff on the shift. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, and emergency response to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN with a current license in Pennsylvania.
• At least 1 year experience in geriatric nursing Long Term Care (LTC) a plus.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on your shift.
• Administer direct care as necessary.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Round and assure that proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
• Keep physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.

Position:Registered Nurse(RN) for Skilled Nursing

Salary:Starting at $40-45/hr plus differential Shift Differential: $4/hr. for Weekday Evenings and Nights, and $6/hr. for all weekend shifts!

Actual salary may fall outside of the posted salary range as it is dependent on skills and experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)is responsible for the overall nursing care/service, and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.
