Job summary

Freedom Village Brandywine is seeking a part-time RN Supervisor to oversee weekend shifts at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Coatesville, PA. The role includes supervising nursing staff, administering care, and coordinating with physicians and families to ensure high-quality resident care.

The position offers weekend coverage with starting pay $40–$45 per hour plus a $6 per hour weekend shift differential. Prior geriatric LTC supervisory experience is preferred and PA RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)is responsible for the overall nursing care/service, and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on your shift.
• Administer direct care as necessary.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Round and assure that proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
• Keep physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
• Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
• Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
• Encourage restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.RN with a current license in Pennsylvania.
• At least 1 year experience in geriatric nursing Long Term Care (LTC) a plus.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
