Job summary

Freedom Village Brandywine in West Brandywine, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for day shift to oversee nursing care and staff. The role includes medication administration, documentation, and emergency response on a shift-by-shift basis.

Qualified candidates will have an active PA RN license, 1+ year geriatric LTC experience, supervisory background, and strong communication skills. In addition, basic computer proficiency and a commitment to resident dignity are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program with RN license in PA.
• At least 1 year of geriatric LTC experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Warm, friendly, caring manner on first impression.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff and visitors.
• Maintain confidentiality and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing staff on your shift.
• Administer direct care as necessary.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Round and assure proper care in a safe, clean environment.
• Keep physicians and families informed of changes in resident condition.
• Develop comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain resident dignity and safety.
• Accurately document all care rendered.
• Respond to resident emergency calls.
• Interface with other disciplines to ensure continuity of care.
• Accompany physicians on rounds.
• Encourage restorative care to maximize resident independence.

Salary: Starting at $40-45/hr plus differential Shift Differential: $4/hr for Weekday Evenings and Nights, and $6/hr for all weekend shifts!

Actual salary may fall outside of the posted salary range as it is dependent on skills and experience.

We are in need of an RN for day shift.

Location: 35 Freedom Village Blvd, West Brandywine, Pa 19320. In Person

About The Role

The Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) is responsible for the overall nursing care/service, and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.
