Job summary

Birmingham Rehabilitation is hiring an RN to provide direct care to residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will assess residents, help update care plans, and ensure medications and treatments are delivered safely and on time.

You will lead and support CNAs, collaborate with physicians, and maintain precise documentation while serving as a steady, communicative point of contact for residents and their families. A valid Alabama RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but new grads with the right attitude will be considered.
• Strong clinical documentation and resident care standards.
• Patience, clear communication, and steadiness on busy days.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and monitor their condition.
• Assess residents and support care plan updates; flag changes early.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and on time.
