Main Functions: Deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric renal patients using the nursing process in accordance with ANNA Standards of Care. Act as a professional nurse, delegate patient care to supervised staff, and assume on-call responsibilities upon competency validation.
Working Conditions / Hazards: Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens, illness, and hazardous chemicals.
Physical Requirements: Standing, pushing wheelchairs and stretchers, lifting, etc.
Reports To: Charge Nurse, Clinical Coordinator, Nurse Manager.
Contacts: Patients, Families, Visitors, Physicians, Staff.
Supervises: Licensed Practical Nurses, Technicians, Secretaries, and other staff members.
