AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a full-time day-shift role. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Eligible candidates may participate in the Clinical Ladder, with sign-on up to $15,000 and relocation assistance, plus a robust benefits package starting from day one.

Formación

• Associate's in Nursing required.
• RN license required.
• BLS required.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills – navigate Windows-based programs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and reassess as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document outcomes.

Job Description

Grow with us. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20%* through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria.

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus and $1,500 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below)

Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

Sign-on Eligibility

• One (1) year of applicable experience
• Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible

Relocation Eligibility

• Must live 50 miles outside of campus address
• Rehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are not eligible

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG competency
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)

• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

Work Experience

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]
