Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center, part of Methodist Health System, seeks an experienced RN for NICU care. You will render direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process, support hospital mission, and collaborate with the care team to promote patient safety and outcomes.

The role requires a nursing degree, BLS certification, Texas RN license or eligibility, and at least 2 years of NICU RN experience. PRN shifts are available in a busy Dallas area hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current Texas RN license or eligibility to practice.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
• Manages nursing components of patient/family education.
• Communicates with team and families and ensures understanding of information.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Delivers timely medication and IV administration.
• Follows nursing process to ensure quality patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Job Requirements

• Work experience: Minimum 2 years NICU RN experience
