Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Registered Nurse with NICU experience for a PRN shift. The role involves high-level patient care, direct and indirect nursing duties, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Communicate with team, patients, and families; ensure accurate documentation.
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely and timely.
• Support growth and development of staff and participate in ongoing education.
• Other duties as assigned.

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.

Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Basic Life Support Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 1 year of applicable NICU RN experience

Your Job Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family/significant

Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the

episode of care.
