Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a PRN NICU RN to deliver high-quality nursing care to assigned patients, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and patient-centered communication.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas license or eligibility, BLS certification, and at least 1 year NICU experience. The hospital values professional growth and dedicated care in a renowned health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Current Texas nursing license or eligibility.
• Minimum 1 year NICU RN experience.

• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family/ significant other educational process.
• Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients, and family members and evaluates understanding of informational manner.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, coworkers, and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Provides a therapeutic environment through safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.
• Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance and for professional growth and development.
• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 2 shift per pay period
• 2 weekend shifts per quarter

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.

Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
