Responsibilities

• Count controlled substances and ensure policy adherence.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP and participate in required staff meetings and training.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel.

How You Make a Difference

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work under the supervision of Charge Nurses to provide patient education and support. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurses and other staff as needed.
• Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as required.
• Count controlled substances and apply clinical and technical aspects of care according to established policies and procedures.
• Document nursing encounters using the SOAP format as required and attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, unit supervisory personnel, or other staff as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience: Prefer at least 1 year of clinic experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
