Job summary

Premise Health Inc. seeks a PRN Registered Nurse to provide care at our Health Center locations in Pittston and Minersville, PA. You will assess patient needs, perform nursing evaluations, administer medications, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure quality care.

The role requires an RN license, ADN or BSN as applicable, and BLS; ACLS may be required based on site contract. This position offers flexible hours and site-based responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensed in state of practice is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required; ACLS may be required per contract.
• COHN/COHN-S preferred for some sites.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Pittston, PA.

This is a PRN position supporting two health center locations in Pittston and Minersville. You’ll work Monday–Friday as needed, based on site coverage needs.

Pittston

• Monday, Thursday & Friday: 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Tuesday: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM

Minersville

• Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Tuesday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
