Job summary

CAREonsite is seeking a Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing to support our Occupational Health & Injury Case Management programs. This PRN RN role requires ACLS (ACLS/AED) certification, phlebotomy skills, IV draws, and immunizations, along with strong Microsoft Office and data management abilities.

The RN will provide care oversight, health promotion, and reporting per program protocols, while conducting

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing.
• ACLS/AED certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient in phlebotomy, IV draws, and immunizations.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Standing and walking for up to five hours per shift; lifting up to 15 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor occupational health programs with care oversight and coordination.
• Develop health promotion programs in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Provide accurate medical reports and contribute to procedures as needed.
• Conduct job-specific health assessments, pre-employment exams, and ongoing surveillance.
• Provide first aid and manage work-related injuries with follow-up per protocol.
• Perform phlebotomy and administer immunizations as required.
• Evaluate, monitor, and report potential occupational illnesses and injuries under protocols.

Schedule & Pay Schedule PRNPay Range 42 48 hr

What Youll Do

• Support & Monitor Occupational Health Programs Provide care oversight and coordination of a wide range of occupational health services
• Health Promotion & Education Develop health promotion programs in collaboration with the supervising occupational physician
• Medical Reporting & Compliance Provide accurate well documented medical reports and formulate occupational health procedures as needed
• Health Assessments & Surveillance Conduct job specific health assessments pre employment exams and ongoing health surveillance
• First Aid & Injury Case Management Provide first aid care manage work related injuries and illnesses and coordinate follow up care per protocol
• Clinical Expertise Perform phlebotomy IV blood draws and administer immunizations as required
• Occupational Illness & Injury Consultation Work under established protocols to evaluate monitor and report potential occupational illnesses and injuries

What Were Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse RN license in the state of practice
• At least 2 years of experience in general medicine occupational health or emergency room nursing
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLSAED certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in phlebotomy IV blood draws and immunizations
• Strong computer skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic medical data management
• Physical ability Requires standing and walking for up to five hours per shift; infrequent lifting of up to 15 lbs
