Job summary

Premise Health in Malvern, PA is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide care to client employees at our Health Center. Hours: PRN as needed to cover PTO and sick days; Health Center hours 7:00a–4:00p, Monday–Friday.

The role includes nursing assessments, physician collaboration, and administration of medications as well as patient education and health promotion. Requires PA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and Nursing degree; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in PA required.
• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or AS required; BSN preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification per contract scope; COHN/COHN-S preferred and may be required at some sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further care as needed.
• Perform tests and treatments per site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment and infection control; keep accurate health records.

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Malvern, PA.

Schedule

• PRN as needed to cover PTO and sick days
• Health Center Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00a - 4:00p

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four‑year college or university is preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites.
