ContinueCARE Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect care for adults from 18 to geriatric, and to supervise nursing staff during the shift.

The role requires a Kentucky RN license, BLS on hire, ACLS within 90 days, and acute/critical care experience is preferred. PRN day and PRN night shifts available.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in Kentucky.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Experience working in acute care; critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care for patients from 18 to geriatric.
• Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to LPN, CNA/PCT and other team members.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other departments; promote teamwork and safety.

Job description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA/PCT and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

Seeking PRN DAY SHIFT 6:45AM-7PMand PRN NIGHT SHIFT 6:45PM-7am

Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in Kentucky. BLS is required upon hire and ACLS within 90 days of hire. Experience working in an acute care environment and critical care experience preferred.
