Job summary

ContinueCARE Hospital in Kentucky is hiring a Registered Nurse for the night shift to lead and deliver direct and indirect nursing care for adults and geriatric patients. The RN will supervise LPNs and CNAs, coordinate with physicians, and ensure care standards are met during the shift.

The ideal candidate holds a Kentucky RN license, with BLS on hire and ACLS within 90 days, plus acute/critical care experience preferred. Equality of opportunity is promised in employment.

Job description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of the nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA/PCT and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

NIGHT SHIFT 6:45PM-7AM

Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in Kentucky. BLS is required upon hire and ACLS within 90 days of hire. Experience working in an acute care environment and critical care experience preferred.
